Campbell signs with Bengals

Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Bengals have signed quarterback Jason Campbell as a backup for Andy Dalton.

Campbell spent last season with the Cleveland Browns, who released him earlier this offseason.

In nine games with the Browns, including eight starts, the 32-year-old veteran completed 56.8 percent of his passes for 2,015 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

For his career, Campbell has completed 60.3 percent of his passes for 16,697 yards with 87 touchdowns and 60 interceptions with Washington, Oakland and Chicago in addition to Cleveland.
