Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Bengals have signed defensive tackle Kheeston Randall to fill the vacant roster spot created after Geno Atkins went on injured reserve Monday.

Randall spent the 2012 season with Miami as a rookie and notched eight tackles in 12 games. He was waived by the Dolphins as part of the team's final cuts in August.

The 24-year-old Texas product was selected with a seventh-round pick by the Dolphins in 2012.

Cincinnati had planned to sign defensive tackle Christo Bilukidi to take Atkins' roster spot, but the native Canadian and former Oakland Raider did not have a valid permit to work in the United States.
