Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel is expected to start Sunday when the team visits the Pittsburgh Steelers, head coach Doug Marrone confirmed Thursday.

Manuel had missed Buffalo's last four games with a sprained LCL in his right knee, but returned to practice Wednesday and will start Sunday, barring any setbacks.

Manuel, the 16th overall pick in this year's draft, completed 85-of-150 passes for 985 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions over Buffalo's first five games.

Backup quarterback Thad Lewis started the next three games during Manuel's absence, but missed the Bills' Week 9 loss to Kansas City with a rib injury.

Lewis also returned to practice Wednesday and is expected to be the No. 2 quarterback on Sunday, while rookie Jeff Tuel, who started against the Chiefs, is unlikely to dress against the Steelers.
