Owings Mills, MD (Sports Network) - The Baltimore Ravens re-signed wide receiver Tandon Doss on Monday.

The Ravens were in need of a wide receiver after Jacoby Jones suffered a sprained MCL in the regular-season opener in Denver. Jones could be sidelined for as long as six weeks.

Doss, who was released by Baltimore on Aug. 31, caught seven passes for 123 yards and a touchdown in 14 games with the Ravens last season. The Indiana product also returned four punts for a collective 53 yards.

The 23-year-old Doss was originally selected by the Ravens in the fourth round of the 2011 draft.

The Ravens also waived linebacker Robert James.
