Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Phoenix Suns have signed free agent Dionte Christmas.

Christmas, 26, spent the first four years of his professional career overseas after going undrafted in 2009. The 6'5 wing averaged 10.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game off the bench for the Suns' Las Vegas Summer League squad this summer.

"We're excited to add Dionte to our roster," said General Manager Ryan McDonough. "His scoring ability, leadership and toughness will help us this season."

Christmas spent last season with Montepaschi Siena of the Italian Serie-A, averaging 5.1 points in nine games.
