Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Denver Nuggets guard Ty Lawson left Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a left ankle injury.

With just over three minutes remaining in the game, Lawson turned his ankle after stepping on Memphis guard Mike Conley's foot while driving to the basket.

Lawson fell to the ground in pain, but remained in the game to attempt a pair of free throws. After hitting the second, Denver quickly fouled the Grizzlies and Lawson limped off the court and to the locker room.

Lawson scored 16 points off the bench before exiting.
