Recap: Chicago vs. New York

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Luol Deng and Marco Belinelli each had 22 points to lift the Chicago Bulls over the New York Knicks, 93-85, on Saturday.

Bulls guard Nate Robinson added 14 points, eight assists and six rebounds against his former team.

Carlos Boozer donated 12 points and 10 boards, and Joakim Noah finished with 10 and 11 for Chicago, which has won three in a row.

"We came in ready," said Noah. "It was definitely a good win for us."

Raymond Felton ended with 27 points on 9-of-30 shooting for the Knicks, who had a five-game winning streak snapped. Tyson Chandler had 14 points and 18 rebounds.

New York shot a season-worst 32.1 percent from the floor just two days after making 18 3-pointers in a 112-92 victory over the Miami Heat. They went 8- of-23 from beyond the arc on Saturday. It was also a season-low point total for the Knicks.

"We were a little bit out of control in terms of our offensive execution and I got to take some of the blame for that," Knicks coach Mike Woodson said. "I didn't help them get into a lot of different things quickly, but then you have to give Chicago credit because their defense was solid tonight."

The Knicks were without Carmelo Anthony for a second straight game due to a lacerated middle finger on his left hand.

Holding a 79-77 lead with 4:16 to play, Chicago scored four straight points to create some breathing room. Jimmy Butler made a layup and Deng made two free throws around Felton's missed jumper to make it 83-77.

J.R. Smith stopped the brief spurt with a 3-pointer. However, Deng made a 21- foot jumper at the other end to give the Bulls an 85-80 margin with 2:18 left.

Chandler made two free throws to get New York within three.

The home team responded with a 6-0 flurry to put the game away. Belinelli made a jumper and Noah made a layup around Steve Novak's missed 3-pointer. Belinelli then stole the ball away from Jason Kidd. Robinson made two free throws to give the Bulls a 91-82 edge with 55.2 seconds left.

Neither team led by more than six in the first quarter, which ended with the Bulls holding a 26-23 edge.

Chicago scored the first four points of the second stanza to build a 30-23 lead.

New York was still down by seven, 37-30, with 4:04 remaining, but went on a 9-0 run to take the lead. James White's jumper made it 39-37 with 1:25 to go.

The Bulls scored the final four points of the frame to take a 43-41 margin into the locker room.

Chicago led by as many as six in a tight third quarter that featured five lead changes and five ties. The Bulls held a 67-65 edge heading to the fourth.
