Recap: Toronto vs. New Jersey

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Ben Uzoh recorded the 10th triple-double in Raptors franchise history with 12 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds as Toronto defeated the New Jersey Nets, 98-67, in the season finale for both teams.

Ed Davis added a game-high 24 points to go along with 12 rebounds, while Alan Anderson finished with 20 points and Solomon Alabi contributed 11 points and 19 boards for the Raptors (23-43).

"I was told to just play my game and play with a lot of energy," said Uzoh, who was signed to a pair of 10-day contracts earlier in the year before being signed for the remainder of the season. "It was pretty cool and my teammates were cheering me on."

Armon Johnson and Anthony Morrow netted 11 points apiece to pace New Jersey (22-44). Jordan Williams had 10 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort.

"We had a lot of injured players this year but our guys never let up," Nets head coach Avery Johnson said. "Next year at this time I want to be talking about the playoffs and not going home."

The game marked the last time the Nets will be known as the New Jersey Nets, as the team will move to its new facility in Brooklyn next season.

The Nets compiled an NBA record of 1,186-1,636 while in New Jersey.

Toronto controlled the game from the start, opening the first quarter with a 17-2 run and held that lead for the remainder of the contest.

The Nets answered with an 11-4 push to close the gap to 21-13, but they would get no closer than that and trailed, 26-15, at the end of the first.

The Raptors held at least an 11-point lead throughout the entire second quarter and closed out the half by scoring the final 15 points to carry a 54-27 advantage into the break.

New Jersey never threatened in the second half, trailing by as much as 36 on Davis' jumper within the final four minutes of the third en route to a 73-43 margin entering the fourth and a game-high 38 on Uzoh's driving layup past the midpoint of the frame.
