New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Utah rookie point guard Trey Burke will make his NBA debut on Wednesday night as the Jazz visit the New Orleans Pelicans.

Burke, the 2013 NCAA National Player of the Year, missed the first 12 games of the season after fracturing his right index finger in a preseason game last month.

Utah selected Burke with the ninth overall pick in this year's NBA Draft.

Burke averaged 18.6 points, 6.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game for Michigan last season and helped lead the Wolverines to the National Championship game, where they fell to Louisville 82-76. He scored a game-high 24 points in the setback.
