Pelicans' Davis leaves game with shoulder injury

Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis left Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks with a sprained left shoulder and will not return.

Davis injured himself with 4:13 left in the second quarter. He immediately grabbed his shoulder in pain as he left for the locker room.

In just over 12 minutes, Davis tallied six points nine boards and two blocked shots.
