New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The NBA said Sunday officials missed a foul call in the waning seconds of Saturday's game between Dallas and New Orleans, one that could have affected the outcome of the contest.

The Mavericks claimed a 110-107 win and walked off the court after Monta Ellis tied up New Orleans' Austin Rivers as the Pelicans' guard was attempting to pull off a shot from 3-point range.

"After reviewing postgame video, we have determined a foul should have been called on Dallas' Monta Ellis for illegal contact on the arms of New Orleans' Austin Rivers while Rivers was attempting a 3-point field goal," said NBA president of basketball operations Rod Thorn. "Rivers should have been awarded three free throws with 0.6 left on the clock."
