Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving has been diagnosed with a minimally displaced right nasal fracture, but the third- year standout is still active for Friday's home game against Charlotte.

Irving sustained the injury in the first quarter of Wednesday's 124-95 loss in Minnesota.

The 21-year-old Duke product has averaged 19.4 points and 6.9 assists through Cleveland's first nine games this season.

Fellow guard Dion Waiters, however, did not attend Friday's shoot around due to an illness and is doubtful to play against the Bobcats.
