Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng is expected to miss Game 7 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against the Brooklyn Nets.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Saturday that Deng was still hospitalized in Chicago and did not make the flight to New York.

Deng sat out Game 6 on Thursday with flu-like symptoms, but the Chicago Tribune has reported that complications developed after he received a spinal tap on Wednesday.

In the first five games of the series, Deng averaged 13.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
