Bobcats F Kidd-Gilchrist out with broken hand

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats have announced that forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist sustained a non-displaced fracture in his left hand on Wednesday.

Kidd-Gilchrist left Tuesday's 89-82 loss to Dallas in the third quarter and did not return. The Bobcats confirmed the broken hand after the game via their Twitter account.

He is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

The second-year pro out of Kentucky is averaging 9.1 points and 5.4 rebounds this season.
