Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - Thaddeus Young scored 24 points and pulled down nine rebounds, and the Philadelphia 76ers topped the Brooklyn Nets, 106-96, in preseason play.

Dorell Wright totaled 18 points and 11 boards, while Jrue Holiday chipped in 11 points and 12 assists. The Sixers had seven players score in double figures, including Jason Richardson and Spencer Hawes with 13 apiece.

Brook Lopez had 23 points and nine rebounds, and Deron Williams finished with 22 points for the Nets. Joe Johnson ended with 18 points for Brooklyn, which went 6-of-23 from beyond the arc.

Lopez made two free throws to get the Nets within 97-96 with 3:07 remaining, but the Sixers scored the last nine points. Nick Young nailed a step-back 3- pointer with the shot clock winding down to expand the margin to 104-96 with 31.4 seconds remaining.
