Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - The Brooklyn Nets signed Mason Plumlee on Wednesday, less than a week after taking the forward/center with the 22nd overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Plumlee averaged 17.1 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks and shot 59.9 percent from the field as a senior for Duke this past season. The 7-footer's efforts earned him the Pete Newell Big Man of the Year Award and a selection to the All-ACC First Team.
