Celtics' Rondo sits vs. 76ers

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo was out of the lineup for Wednesday night's game against Philadelphia.

Rondo was out for the second time in seven games since returning from the ACL tear he suffered in January 2013.

He played a season-high 30 minutes Sunday against Brooklyn and 27 minutes Tuesday against New York, both losses. Rondo has averaged 6.7 points, 5.7 assists and 3.8 rebounds since his return.
