Joliet, IL (Sports Network) - Kyle Busch claimed the pole for Saturday's Dollar General 300 Nationwide Series race after topping the charts in qualifying at Chicagoland Speedway.

Busch turned a lap at 178.968 mph for his eighth pole of the season and the 34th of his career. It's also his first Nationwide pole at Chicagoland. Busch is competing in all three NASCAR national touring series races here this weekend. He won Friday night's Camping World Truck event.

Austin Dillon will share the front row with Busch after posting a lap at 178.867 mph. Joey Logano, who won at Chicagoland in July, qualified third, followed by Sam Hornish Jr., the current points leader, and Parker Kligerman.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., Elliott Sadler, Alex Bowman, Nelson Piquet Jr. and Brian Vickers will start sixth through 10th, respectively.
