Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Boston Red Sox shortstop Stephen Drew left Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays with tightness in his right hamstring.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Drew slid into second following a double to center. He came up holding his right hamstring.

Brandon Snyder came on as a pinch-runner for Drew, who had a two-run triple in the second inning. Snyder took over at third base, pushing Jose Iglesias over to shortstop.
