Los Angeles, CA ( - The Los Angeles Dodgers reinstated catcher A.J. Ellis from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

In 15 games this season, the 33-year-old has batted .170 with two doubles and one RBI.

In a corresponding move, catcher Tim Federowicz was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.
