Dodgers give Lowe minor league deal

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Dodgers signed right- handed pitcher Mark Lowe to a minor league contract on Friday.

Lowe, 29, pitched in 36 games for the Texas Rangers last season, going 0-2 with a 3.43 ERA. He missed time to due a strained side muscle.

In 253 career games with the Mariners (2006-10) and Rangers (2010-12), Lowe owns a 7-20 record with five saves and a 3.94 ERA.
