Recap: Oakland vs. Italy

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Yoenis Cespedes went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBI as the Oakland Athletics edged Italy, 4-3, on Tuesday.

Josh Reddick and Jed Lowrie added an RBI apiece, while Coco Crisp went 3-for-3 and scored a pair of runs for the A's, who got three shutout innings out of starter Brett Anderson.

Anthony Rizzo and Chris Colabello each smacked solo homers and Mike Costanzo added an RBI double for Italy, which is prepping for the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

John Mariotti allowed two runs on two hits over one inning to absorb the loss.
