Recap: Washington vs. Atlanta

Viera, FL (Sports Network) - Ryan Zimmerman hit three home runs and had four RBI as the Washington Nationals beat the Atlanta Braves, 11-2, in spring training play.

Wilson Ramos had two homers, including a three-run shot, and Tyler Moore hit a solo home run for the Nationals. Starting pitcher Ross Detwiler allowed two runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Evan Gattis and Gerald Laird drove in the only runs for the Braves, while Ramiro Pena was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate.

Eric O'Flaherty got the start for Atlanta and pitched one scoreless inning before being replaced by Daniel Rodriguez, who allowed eight runs on six hits and five walks over two innings.
