Recap: NY Mets vs. Miami

Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - Joe Mahoney hit two home runs and drove in four runs, as the Miami Marlins battled the New York Mets to an 8-8 tie in spring training action.

Mahoney was 2-for-5 for the Marlins, who recorded 13 hits for the game. Christian Yelich hit a solo home run, drove in two runs and scored twice while Chone Figgins, Nick Green, Rob Brantly and Zack Cox each scored once.

Miami starter Alex Sanabia pitched two perfect frames.

Brian Bixler hit a two-run home run and Zach Lutz drove in a pair of runs while Lucas Duda hit a homer and scored twice for the Mets. Starter Matt Harvey allowed one run on three hits and fanned four over 2 2/3 innings.
