Recap: NY Mets vs. Atlanta

Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - Freddie Freeman belted two solo home runs, knocked in three runs and scored three times to lead the Atlanta Braves to a 7-5 decision over the New York Mets in spring training action on Tuesday.

Michael Bourn added three RBI and two runs scored and Eric Hinske doubled in the other run for the Braves, who saw starter Buddy Carlyle allow two runs on three hits over four innings of work to earn the victory.

Lucas Duda smacked a solo shot, while Jordany Valdespin finished with two hits and an RBI. Chris Schwinden made the start for the Mets, but lasted just 2 1/3 innings after yielding four runs on five hits and two walks.
