Recap: Baltimore vs. Minnesota

Sarasota, FL (Sports Network) - Starter Anthony Swarzak and two other pitchers combined to take a no-hitter into the eighth inning Tuesday, leading the Twins to a 5-0 shutout of the Orioles in spring training.

Swarzak struck out three and walked three in 3 2/3 innings and Jeff Gray held Baltimore hitless for 2 1/3 more.

After Jared Burton set the Orioles down in order in the seventh, Glen Perkins gave up a one-out double to Robert Andino in the eighth to end the no-no bid.

It was Baltimore's only hit of the game, while the Twins banged out seven. They scored four of their runs off Orioles starter Tsuyoshi Wada, who went three innings.

Jamey Carroll had a two-run double to highlight a three-run second inning for the Twins.
