Recap: Cleveland vs. LA Angels

Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Kendrys Morales finished with two hits, including a solo home run in the second inning, to lead the Angels to a 4-1 victory over the Indians in spring training action on Friday.

It was his first homer since May 29, 2010, when he belted a game-ending grand slam in the 10th inning against Seattle and infamously broke his left ankle by jumping onto home plate in celebration and missed the rest of that season and all of 2011.

Maicer Izturis added three hits and Albert Pujols scored a run as starter Matt Shoemaker allowed just one run on five hits and two walks over five innings to earn the victory.

Shin-Soo Choo accounted for the Indians' only run with a sacrifice fly in the third inning. Josh Tomlin made the start for Cleveland, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over five innings to take the loss.
