Recap: Los Angeles vs. Chicago Cubs

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Tony Gwynn hit a two-run single, highlighting a four-run second inning that propelled the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 5-0 win over the Chicago Cubs.

Matt Angle also drove in two runs for the Dodgers, while Trent Oeltjen went 2- for-3 and scored twice. Los Angeles starter Ted Lilly gave up one hit and walked one batter in three strong frames.

Chicago's Matt Garza couldn't make it out of the second inning. He surrendered the four runs on three hits and two walks.
