Recap: Oakland vs. LA Angels

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Albert Pujols ripped an RBI-double into left field in his first at bat as an Angel, finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored to lead the Angels past Oakland 9-1 in their first Spring Training contest.

Vernon Wells added a two-run single in the first to give the Angels a 3-0 lead. Howie Kendrick went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run, while Chris Iannetta also hit a two-run shot and added three RBI.

C.J. Wilson (1-0) also made his Angels debut, allowing just one hit and walking one in two innings of work as the starter.

Cliff Pennington had two hits, and Coco Crisp and Kurt Suzuki added one hit apiece. Brad Peacock (0-1) began the game on the bump, giving up four runs on four hits in 1 2/3 innings of work.
