Nationals put Ramos on DL

San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals placed catcher Wilson Ramos on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a left hamstring strain.

Ramos is batting .250 with three doubles, two home runs, six RBI, four walks and four runs scored in 14 games this season with Washington.

To fill the roster spot, Washington recalled catcher Jhonatan Solano from Triple-A Syracuse.

Solano is 1-for-6 in three games with Washington this year. He batted .167 with two doubles, two walks and three runs scored in 12 contests this season with Syracuse.
