Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals have activated pitcher Stephen Strasburg from the 15-day disabled list.

Strasburg, who hasn't pitched since May 31 due to a right lat strain, will start Sunday's game against the Cleveland Indians.

The right-hander is 3-5 with a 2.54 ERA in 12 games this season. He has allowed one earned run or less in five consecutive starts.

To make room on the roster for Strasburg, Washington optioned pitcher Xavier Cedeno to Triple-A Syracuse.
