Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals activated infielder Danny Espinosa from the 15-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old landed on the DL earlier this month because of a broken bone in his right wrist.

Espinosa has appeared in 44 games with the Nationals this season, hitting .158 with three home runs and 12 RBI.
