Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Texas Rangers have placed third baseman Adrian Beltre on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left quadriceps muscle.

Beltre has not played since suffering the injury on April 8. He is batting .286 with three doubles and four RBI in eight games with Texas this season.

Texas also added right-handed pitcher Hector Noesi to the active roster. Noesi was acquired from the Seattle Mariners in a trade Saturday in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

Noesi made two relief appearances with the Mariners this season, posting an 0-1 record while allowing three runs in one inning of work.
