Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Twins made a trio of roster moves on Friday, most notably activating outfielder Josh Willingham from the 15-day disabled list.

Willingham last played for the Twins on June 30. He underwent surgery three days later to repair a medial meniscus tear in his left knee.

Prior to the DL stint, Willingham was batting .224 with 10 homers and 37 RBI through 70 games.

The Twins also recalled pitcher Liam Hendriks from Triple-A Rochester and placed concussed catcher Ryan Doumit on the 7-day DL.

Hendriks is slated to start the nightcap of Friday's split doubleheader against the White Sox in Chicago. The right-hander made two starts for the Twins in April, going 0-1 with a 4.66 ERA. He was 3-8 with a 5.12 ERA in the minors this season.

Doumit is hitting .244 with nine homers and 44 RBI over 99 games this year.
