Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Stephen Fife was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list and will start Sunday against the Chicago Cubs.

Fife, who landed on the DL with right shoulder bursitis on July 8, is 3-3 with a 2.76 earned run average in eight starts this season.

To make room for Fife on the active roster, the Dodgers optioned outfielder Scott Van Slyke to Triple-A Albuquerque.
