Tigers, Coke agree to 1-year deal

Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Tigers agreed to terms on a one- year contact with reliever Phil Coke on Thursday.

Coke, 31, was 0-5 with a 5.40 earned run average in 49 games for the Tigers last season.

The left-hander has compiled a 12-22 record with a 4.34 ERA while making 222 relief appearances and 15 starts over the last four years with Detroit.
