Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Colorado Rockies have reportedly come to terms on a one-year deal with pitcher Jeff Francis.

The contract is pending a physical, according to multiple reports.

The 31-year-old lefty was signed as a free agent by Cincinnati prior to last season, but was released by the Reds on June 4. Four days later, he signed with the Rockies and compiled a 6-7 mark with a 5.58 ERA in 24 starts.

Francis, a first-round draft pick of the Rockies in 2002, has pitched in 205 games, all but 31 with the Rockies, and has a 67-73 record with a 4.86 ERA. He went 6-16 with the Kansas City Royals in 2011.
