Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder Michael Bourn from the 15-day disabled list following Thursday's game against the Oakland Athletics.

Bourn has been sidelined since lacerating his right index finger on April 14. He was batting .333 with two home runs and four doubles prior to the injury.

To make room on the roster, Cleveland optioned pitcher Scott Barnes to Triple- A Columbus. The left-hander pitched a scoreless ninth on Thursday.
