Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - The Chicago White Sox have activated second baseman Gordon Beckham off the 15-day disabled list.

Beckham had been sidelined with a hamate fracture in his left hand. He was hurt in an April 9 game against Washington while swinging at a pitch and underwent surgery a short time later.

In seven big league games before the injury, Beckham hit .316 with an RBI. He played eight games in a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte and batted .333 with five RBI.

The White Sox designated infielder Tyler Greene for assignment to open a roster spot. He hit .222 with a homer and drove in three runs in 22 games for the White Sox.
