Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Chicago White Sox starter John Danks, who has yet to pitch this season, will continue his rehabilitation from offseason surgery in Arizona.

The club announced the news on Monday, adding that Danks will make one start at extended spring training before returning to Chicago to continue working towards a return in 2013.

Danks, the 28-year-old left-hander, had been placed on the 15-day disabled list in late March in order to continue his recovery from left shoulder surgery performed back in August.

Injuries limited Danks to just nine starts last season. He went 3-4 with a 5.70 earned run average.
