Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis left Friday's game against the LA Angels of Anaheim in the fifth inning because of an apparent right knee injury.

Davis was injured while trying to beat out a ground ball to third base. Replays showed that Davis' knee appeared to buckle as he made contact with first base. He limped off the field and into the Orioles dugout.

He went 0-for-2 in the 4-0 setback.

Additionally, Baltimore pitcher Miguel Gonzalez was forced to leave the game after the sixth inning because of a blister on his right thumb. Gonzalez allowed three runs on six hits, while striking out five.
