Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated right- handed reliever J.J. Putz from the 15-day disabled list on Monday.

The 36-year-old has been out since August 24, having dislocated his right pinkie finger the day before in a contest against the Philadelphia Phillies.

In 35 appearances in 2013, Putz has produced a 3-1 record with six saves and a 2.43 ERA. He had allowed just one run over his last 15 2/3 innings before getting hurt.
