Song cruises to 3-shot win in Virginia

Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Christine Song closed with a 1-under 71 on Sunday to earn a 3-stroke win at the Eagle Classic.

Song, who won for the second time this year on the Symetra Tour, finished at 8-under-par 208.

She stumbled to a bogey on the third, but bounced back with a birdie at the eighth. Song converted back-to-back birdies at 11 and 12 to move to minus-9. She parred the next three before tripping to a bogey at 16. Song parred the last two holes to seal the win.

Jean Chua carded a 4-under 68 to grab a share of second. Chua was joined at minus-5 by Stefanie Kenoyer (71), Perrine Delacour (72) and Kendall Dye (72).

Alexandra Casi tripped to a 73 in the final round to end alone in sixth at 4- under 212.
