Clinton, SC (Sports Network) - Presbyterian College Coach Harold Nichols announced Wednesday that assistant coaches Drew Watson and Andrew Ford will not return next season after resigning for personal reasons, effective immediately.

Watson was hired as a defensive coordinator in February after spending the previous 10 seasons as an assistant coach at Coastal Carolina, while Ford served as a defensive backs and recruiting coordinator for the past three seasons.

"I'd like to thank Coach Watson and Coach Ford for all they've done for the football program," Nichols said. "I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors."

Presbyterian, a Big South Conference member, finished the regular season 2-9 and ranked 116th in the FCS in total defense, allowing 502 yards per game.

A national search for replacements will be conducted over the next several weeks.
