Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Pittsburgh senior defensive tackle Aaron Donald was named the 2013 Rotary Lombardi Award winner, given annually to the nation's top lineman or linebacker.

Donald, who received the 2013 Bronko Nagurski Trophy on Tuesday, led the nation in tackles for loss (2.2 per game) en route to being named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year.

The Pittsburgh native is the second Panther defender to take home the award, joining Hugh Green in 1980.

Donald is also a finalist for the Bednarik Award, which recognizes the top defensive player in college football, as well as the Outland Trophy.

Other finalists for the Lombardi Award were UCLA's Anthony Barr, Alabama's C.J. Mosley and Missouri's Michael Sam.

Former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o took home the award last year.
