(Sports Network) - Former Penn State quarterback Stephen Bench has decided to transfer to South Florida.

"I've decided to attend the University of South Florida and become a Bull!!" Bench wrote on his Twitter account,

Due to the NCAA sanctions against Penn State, Bench will be eligible for the 2013 season at USF. He will be competing for the starter's role after B.J. Daniels completed his eligibility.
