East Lansing, MI (Sports Network) - Michigan State defensive end William Gholston announced he will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL Draft.

Two other juniors - running back Le'Veon Bell and tight end Dion Sims - also disclosed they will be skipping their final season of eligibility to turn pro.

Gholston led the Spartans in tackles for loss (13 for 49 yards), sacks (4.5) and pass break-ups (10).

Bell rushed for 3,346 yards and 33 TDs in 40 career games. That includes 1,793 yards with 12 TDs this season.

"This was the hardest decision of my life," Bell said. "It's difficult to leave my teammates and coaches as well as Spartan Nation, but I couldn't pass on pursuing my dream and the opportunity to change my mom's life."

Sims had 36 catches for 475 yards with a pair of scores this season.

The deadline for underclassmen to declare themselves eligible for the 2013 NFL Draft is Tuesday, Jan. 15.
