Gainesville, FL (Sports Network) - Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel left in the first quarter of Saturday's game against Tennessee with an apparent right ankle injury.

The junior suffered the injury after throwing an interception that Volunteers defensive back Devaun Swafford returned for a 62-yard touchdown. Driskel was under pressure as defensive lineman Marlon Walls came from behind and wrapped up Driskel just as he got the throw away.

Driskel limped off the field before exiting to the locker room on crutches.

Tyler Murphy took over at quarterback for the 19th-ranked Gators.
