Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Colorado State defensive line coach Greg Lupfer will be penalized for a televised slip of the tongue.

The Post reported Thursday that Lupfer has been suspended without pay for two weeks, after it was revealed he used a slur based on sexual orientation against Washington State quarterback Connor Halliday during the first quarter of the Rams' 48-45 victory over the Cougars in last Saturday's New Mexico Bowl.

Lupfer also must complete mandatory anger management classes and diversity training, at his own expense and paid for by Lupfer himself, according to the paper.
