New Mexico's Kirk declares for NBA Draft

Albuquerque, NM (SportsNetwork.com) - New Mexico center Alex Kirk announced Friday that he will forego his senior season and enter the NBA Draft.

Kirk averaged 10 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks through 101 games for the Lobos, helping them to two straight Mountain West Conference Tournament crowns.

New Mexico went 27-7 this past season, but was bounced in the second round of the NCAA Tournament by Stanford.
